I am excited to join Dr. Tahbaz, Dr. Rezapour, and the team at Luv Braces! My name is Dr. Teresa Tran, a board-certified orthodontist with more than 12 years of experience creating healthy, confident smiles. I’m passionate about providing personalized orthodontic care and getting to know each patient and family throughout their treatment journey.
My own experience with braces as a teenager first inspired me to pursue orthodontics. I completed an accelerated pre-dental program at the University of the Pacific, earning my degree in Biology with honors in three years and studying abroad in Spain. I then attended the UCLA School of Dentistry, where I served as a leader in the Vietnamese Dental Student Association, participated in dental outreach in Vietnam, and completed an international exchange program in Japan. I went on to earn my Master’s in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from Loma Linda University and later achieved board certification in orthodontics.
Before moving to Austin in 2022, I owned and operated my own orthodontic practice in California for more than six years. Since relocating to Texas, I have continued practicing orthodontics throughout the Austin area, including providing orthodontic care within pediatric dental practices. I especially enjoy working collaboratively with families and other dental providers to create individualized treatment plans that balance beautiful aesthetics with long-term function.
I am fluent in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese and love being able to connect with patients and families from a variety of backgrounds.
Outside of orthodontics, I live in Austin with my husband and our two young daughters. When I’m not chasing after toddlers, you’ll usually find me working out, trying a new restaurant, or planning our next family trip. I’m thrilled to be joining Luv Braces and look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve a smile you’ll love!
